Meet Dr. Haydel
Dr. Haydel, the namesake of our clinic and a big help to many people in Houma!
Dr. Sarah Alexander Haydel is a native of Houma and is a 1991 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from LSU in 1995. After completing four years at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, she secured a residency in the Department of Dermatology at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Haydel is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a member of multiple dermatologic medical societies, including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Her Specialties
Dr. Haydel has treated thousands of patients, focusing on both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Her medical specialty is in treating pediatric conditions such as acne, warts, and eczema. Over the years, she has attended numerous advanced injectable courses for BOTOX®, JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, Dysport and Xeomin. A national speaker for the Sciton Laser Company, her office has become a training site for doctors across the country. “I try to create a more youthful, natural look for my patients,” says Dr. Haydel. She is a proud mother of four and understands the struggles most people experience today balancing family, work, and self.
