Doctor for a Day’: When I was in high school, Dr. David Fakier started a program to shadow a doctor for a day to get some exposure to medicine. I absolutely loved it and it made my decision to go to medical school easy. Over 20 years later I want to continue that tradition. Alexandra Bourgeois an LSU medical student with me today. My goal is to inspire young people to go into medicine and showing them how incredible Dermatology is! Anyone a junior in high school and older may spend a day with me.
